This article explains how domain warmup works in LeadEngine, how to set daily send limits, where warmup activity appears (and where it doesn’t), and what to do if SPF or DNS checks show as “Disabled.”
Daily send limit controls everything. Warmup and campaign sends share the same daily cap.
Split is 50/50. Half of your daily limit goes to warmup, half to your campaign sends.
DNS/ SPF status can lag. Records are re-checked once per day; initial DNS changes may take a few minutes to propagate.
Warmup emails aren’t shown in the app inbox. They run in the background; you may still see them in the provider’s Sent/Outbox.
Make sure your DNS records (e.g., SPF) are added for each sending domain.
After connecting a domain or editing DNS, allow a few minutes for propagation. DNS checks in the app refresh automatically on a schedule (details below).
Your daily send limit determines the total volume an account can send across warmup + campaigns.
Two ways to edit limits:
Inline: In the accounts grid, edit the value directly in the Daily Send Limit column.
Bulk: Select multiple accounts and update their daily limit at once.
Tip: Start conservatively and raise limits gradually as reputation improves.
The platform automatically splits your daily limit 50/50 between warmup and campaign sends.
Example: If the daily limit is 60, the system targets ~30 warmup + 30 campaign sends.
You don’t need to separately set a warmup limit—just set the daily limit and the split applies.
In-app: Warmup messages do not appear in the app’s Inbox/Conversations view. They’re automated and run in the background.
Mailbox provider: You may see warmup messages in your provider’s Sent/Outbox (e.g., Google Workspace) as they’re delivered.
It’s common for DNS indicators to lag behind changes.
What to expect
After first connecting or editing DNS, you’ll usually see updates within 5–15 minutes.
The system also runs scheduled delivery tests once per day per account. These refresh DNS status; if a record still shows as disabled, check again after the next daily test.
If status still looks wrong after a day
Re-check your SPF record for typos or missing includes.
Confirm you published changes to the correct domain/host and that TTL has elapsed.

When does warmup start sending?
Right after activation emails will start to schedule. It can take some time and the emails ramp up on a daily basis so their first few days, the sending is limits.
Can I change the warmup percentage?
Not at this time. The allocation is a fixed 50/50 of your daily limit.
Why don’t I see warmup messages in the app inbox?
Warmup is automated and intentionally hidden from the in-app inbox to avoid clutter. Use your provider’s Sent/Outbox if you need a spot-check.
